Every year in May there is time set aside

A DAY – when young and old give praise

Each expressing joy of former days.

Many lavish with flowers some call and talk for hours

While others choose to treat with good food to eat.

There are those who like to reminisce on the good she has done -

Like a shoulder to cry on in time of need

She is a soldier always ready and willing to do another good deed.

As the tides of life ebbs and flows one can still be mystified of her ability

Always realize

When trouble is within -

She is there through thick and thin.

No matter how your love is expressed there is one thing that remains true

This is a special gift sent from GOD for me and you
