We all have scars that have memories. They remind us just how we got the scars. Though the pain is gone the scars are reminders of our past. We all have been hurt by family and friends. Most people hold on to the pains of their past never letting go, or never allowing time to heal the pain. Like a sore that tries to heal we constantly pick the past (scab) by talking about it years later, never letting it heal. We keep decade old conflicts fresh. It continuously festers in your spirit causing more pain. Your scars show the healing power of God. Not just natural healing process but it also demonstrates through healing we can and should forgive. The scars should be a reminder for us not to repeat the situation. Old scars should draw us closer to God. Whatever you are holding onto from your past let it heal. Let it go and forgive. Let it be just a scar of your past!

Bitterness is a cancer
When you exclude God from your past hurts, and pains, anger festers in your soul. The anger turns to bitterness and resentment. Bitterness, turns into never-ending misery, sadness, sorrow, anguish, and unhappiness. You now focus on hostility. Your ‘justified’ retaliation develops, Emotional instability, Lack of peace & Joy. No one can share in what little joy you have, let alone give joy back. This feeling and adverse words are demonic mind tricks Satan use to keep you from walking in God’s favor. Bitterness is a cancer, but there is a cure through Jesus. Relinquish your pain and suffering to God. Forgive yourself as well as those who may have caused the pain.

Are you a hoarder?
Are you a hoarder? Are you holding onto past treasures in your life? Hoarding is not just junk in a house, it’s also mental hoarding. Holding on to pain, suffering, lost dreams, and hopes, can inflect a life time of hardship. Whatever your mind is hoarding there is a cure. It begins by letting go. Forgiving self. Seeking God. There is nothing God can’t fix. Let us not fail to recognize hoarding is physical, mental, and spiritual behavioral disorder and if not treated this disease can attribute to life lasting problems. If you or someone you know has a hoarding problem; (object form or spiritual form) please seek professional help. In Jesus name Amen.

Why is it so hard to let go?
Why is it so hard for us to let go? Why are we so overly attached to our pass or our possessions? We are spiritually disconnected with God, no different than the rich man and his wealth (Lk18:18-30). We can’t forget what we should leave behind (Phil3:13). We can’t let go of Material things, and/or pass experiences. They are preventing us not only from heaven but from truly trusting God. What do you lack? What are you holding on to? Let it go! What is impossible with man is possible with God.

You can’t fight with God
| Your arms are too short to box with God |
Read: Genesis 32
So Jacob was left alone, and a man wrestled with
him till daybreak. Then the man said let me go for it is day break. But Jacob
replied I will not let you go unless you bless me. Genesis
32:24, 26
Fighting with God
Jacob’s fight with God, as
recorded in Genesis 32, was the tipping point in his life. Jacob
deceitfully took advantage of his brother by taking his birthright, blessing,
and even attempted to hold Esau back at birth Genesis 25:26. Jacob stole what was rightfully Esau’s - Genesis 27.
What’s in a name?
The name Jacob is a pun on
the Hebrew word grasp – to take. So throughout Jacob’s life we read how
he schemed and skillfully took things to “create” his future. But now he has
reached the end of his abilities and God is seeking to take control of his life
based on his adverse activities. “The
man” Jacob fights with all night was a supernatural being – God. Though Jacob
stole from Esau the fight was not with his brother but with God. In the end God
changed Jacob’s name to Israel
which means “he struggles with God.”
Overcome inabilities
| you can't fight with God |
When I look back over my
life, the images unveil my Jacob like tendencies of struggling with God. The
mind combats with how sin, inabilities, and short comings made me unworthy for God
to use. God continued to tug and pull the spirit hoping to get my attention.
This is where the fight begins. I come to realize God does not look for
brilliant or eloquent people. God seeks broken vessels like me, people who have
judged themselves and reached their wits end, rock bottom, or the dead end.
Release your strongholds
It is obvious God could
have taken Jacob’s life but instead he touched him in the strongest part of the
human anatomy – the tendon near the hip – crippling Jacob. Jacob surrendered and
asked to be blessed Genesis 32:25-28.
You are struggling with your
past – jobs, family, marriage, or life. Let go and let God touch your strongholds.
The things that are holding you back will become the deliverance and testimony that
God will empower you to overcome and become a blessing to others.

I'm So Crazy
![]() |

Don’t worry about tomorrow, because tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own. Mathew 6:30
“Insanity is doing the same thing, over and over again, but expecting different results.” ― Albert Einstein
Life making us crazy
“I didn't know enough I just had too much on my mind, does that make me crazy?”
All have experienced this place of temporary insanity, brought to us by love, family, friends, jobs (lack of a job), and even material things. Just name a poison and there you will find a whirlwind of mental chaos: 99 problems pushing you close to the edge, you are trying not to lose your head, but does this make you crazy?
Stop worrying
Jesus posed a question to the community, “is not life more than food and the body more than clothing?” Can any of you add an inch to your head by worrying? Even today, life’s rat race has one moving so fast often times not knowing if you are coming or going, overwhelmed with insurmountable pain which infiltrates logical thinking, easy tasks become challenging, stress and worry tag along ultimately causing health issues. You are so crazy - worrying like idolaters!

Worry can cause mental illness
A dear friend from school has reached a point in life where he has encountered this madness, a coherent mind succumbed to illusions pure divine craziness - mentally and physically - no one knows his whereabouts. One minute home thinking about working next walking the streets, he “gotta see a doctor because he thinks Scotty is calling beam me up!”
Economic mental melt down
The state ofAmerica ’s economy, without notice, can cause us to experience, a slight mental meltdown, a bit of craziness of sorts. Though man’s mind is vast and capable of doing virtually anything we have to also learn letting go and letting God is a good thing when life is out of our control. There is a thin line between sanity and insanity and a wide canyon between self-control and God control.
Despair has affected all in some way - foreclosures, lost jobs, family crisis, hopes and dreams vanished. What do you do when facing these problems? God knows what you want and need, however seek theKingdom of God first and his righteousness and all other things will follow.

When your heart is overwhelmed with pessimism shout - "hear my cry O God," attend to my prayer for He is a shelter, a strong tower when chaos rises.
You can not always control how you feel, nevertheless listen to your inner spirit let go of all your faults, defects or shortcomings lay them on the alter let God’s word flow through, His Spirit not only moves it removes otherwise these things will make you crazy!
