God Knows All Thy Ways

Good Morning!

There is great comfort in knowing that God is familiar with all our ways. Nothing about us is hidden from Him. Nothing is overlooked. Nothing is misunderstood. 

When you draw near to God, He draws near to you, not because He needs information, but because He already knows your heart completely.

Scripture reminds us that “what person knows the thoughts of a man except the spirit of the man within him?” (1 Corinthians 2:11). Yet God knows even that. He sees beyond the surface, beyond the performance, beyond the image we present to others. 

As the Lord told Samuel, “Man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart” (1 Samuel 16:7). And Jesus affirmed this truth in Luke 16:15—God knows what lies beneath every motive and every intention.

Think back over your life. As children, we thought we got away with sneaking a cookie from the jar. As teenagers, we believed our mischief was hidden from everyone. As adults, we’ve all had moments we hoped no one would ever discover. But God saw. God knew. God understood the heart behind every action.

Even David, a man after God’s own heart, could not hide his sin. When God asked him, “What have you done?” it wasn’t because God lacked knowledge it was an invitation for David to confront truth, repent, and be restored.

And that is the beauty of God’s all-knowing nature. His knowledge is not meant to shame us but to save us. He sees all, yet still loves us. He knows all, yet still calls us. He understands all, yet still forgives.

Walk today in honesty before the One who already knows your ways—and loves you still.

You deserve punishment

When forgiveness is not enough what do you do? Demand harsh punishment? God’s love and forgiveness can wipe away the heinous act, but you want retribution. God asked Jonah to deliver a message to the people of Nineveh, repent from their cruel and savage ways or be destroyed. Jonah flees from God, he didn’t want to deliver the message (Jon 1:1-16). He felt they were not deserving of forgiveness, they should be destroyed. After much running and being swallowed by a whale Jonah conceded. God forgave the people but Jonah was angry at God’s compassion (Jon.4:1-2). Our God is compassionate and slow to anger. Many people feel that some leaders, organizations, and nations need to be punished for their cruel and hateful behavior. Yes they do. But who are we to judge unless we want to be judged? Stop talking, running, and thinking like Jonah. As hard as it is for us to ask God to forgive we have to. Pray to God ask to make himself known unto all the people of the land. May they turn from their evil ways, humble themselves and seek God! Despite what we think God still has concern and love  for this great nation of America. 

It’s ok to forgive

There is an unwillingness to forgive from most people. Their refusal to forgive becomes a continuous reminder of the past which siphons life, growth, and happiness. Forgiveness is more about healing you not the other person. Forgiveness enables God to heal you mentally, and spiritually. We are reminded of how important it is to forgive each time you recite The Lord’s Prayer. When we learn to forgive others God will also forgive our wrongs/sins (Mat. 6:9-15). Otherwise when we choose not to forgive, why should God forgive you? For every hurt encountered only you know the pain and sorrow suffered. But Every effort must be made to align with God’s word. It’s okay to forgive so you can heal. You don’t have to face the person to forgive just tell God! You forgive so that you can be forgiven and begin healing with God. 

You cannot hide from God

         Read:  Psalm 139

there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are naked and open to the eyes of Him to whom we must give account. Hebrews 4:13

 

Good Morning!

All things are seen by God. He knows when we sleep and when we are awake. The Lord knows what is on our tongue before we even speak it (Psalm 139:4). If God is capable of doing all these things, shouldn't it prevent man from sinning?

 For some inexplicable reason, we delude ourselves into thinking we can deceive God. "Where can I go from Your Spirit, and where can I flee from Your presence?" asks David.  

 We justify our actions based on the fact that no one saw us. Don't you realize that God sees and knows everything? Everything about us is known by God. He is aware of our personalities, secret fantasies, and concealed motivations.

 God’s words are more than just letters on a page; they come alive. Its sharpness surpasses that of any double-edged sword, and it can even penetrate down to the deepest depths of the soul and spirit.

 If God marked all our iniquities, we would not still be standing. How good and sweet it would be if everyone were free of sin. But we know that is not true. God does witness every word, action, and deed, but there is forgiveness for those who repent and fear the Lord.  Let us think before we act in all things. Seek God in all things and repent.

Unlimited forgiveness!

Life is filled with sin, temptations, and things which will cause us to stumble. It’s inevitable. Jesus even declared it to the disciples (Luke 17:1). When offenses from a Christian is repeated continuously, be mindful of our words and actions against them. When the offenders repent, through our faith in God and prayer, it’s our duty to forgive them each time and not hold grudges. God wants us to demonstrate unlimited forgiveness! No matter how appalling, His desire is for us to forgive. To reach unlimited forgiveness, increase our faith! If we don’t, it’s better for us to be thrown in the sea with a stone tied around our neck. Learn to forgive when a person asks for forgiveness. 

Bitterness is a cancer

When you exclude God from your past hurts, and pains, anger festers in your soul. The anger turns to bitterness and resentment. Bitterness, turns into never-ending  misery, sadness, sorrow, anguish, and unhappiness. You now focus on hostility. Your ‘justified’ retaliation develops, Emotional instability, Lack of peace & Joy. No one can share in what little joy you have, let alone give joy back. This feeling and adverse words are demonic mind tricks Satan use to keep you from walking in God’s favor. Bitterness is a cancer, but there is a cure through Jesus. Relinquish your pain and suffering to God. Forgive yourself as well as those who may have caused the pain.
