Keep Moving

Good Morning!

When we face trials, it becomes far too easy to shift our eyes away from God and toward the weight of our circumstances. We may speak faith with our mouths, yet quietly wonder in our hearts whether God will truly fight for us.

Fear whispers. Doubt creeps in. And before we know it, we are tempted to take control, fix everything ourselves, and carry burdens we were never meant to lift.

But God has never asked us to fight alone. He has never expected us to win battles in our own strength. His promise has always been the same: I am with you.

In 2 Chronicles 20, Jehoshaphat and the people of Judah were overwhelmed by the threat of a massive army. They had no strategy, no strength, and no guarantee of survival. Yet God spoke a word that shifted everything: “Do not be afraid or discouraged… the battle is not yours, but God’s.” Their victory did not come from their ability, it came from their obedience, their worship, and their willingness to move forward even when they didn’t see the outcome.

The same is true for us. Courage is not the absence of fear; it is the decision to keep moving. Faith is not pretending everything is fine; it is trusting that God is already working behind the scenes. Victory comes when we refuse to look back, refuse to retreat, and refuse to let fear dictate our steps.

Be assured today: God is by your side. He will not forsake you. He will fight for you. His plan is attainable, but we must take the steps. Keep moving. Keep trusting. Keep believing. The victory is already His, and because you belong to Him, it is already yours.

The Trials of Life

Good Morning!

Life has a way of pressing us in places we never expected. Trials come without warning. Suffering shows up uninvited. And in those moments, when the weight feels unbearable and the questions outnumber the answers, we often wonder why God would allow us to walk through such fire. But here is the truth many of us learn only after the storm: your suffering becomes your testimony.

The very adversity that tried to break you becomes the evidence that God sustained you. The torment you endured becomes the tool God uses to help someone else survive their own anguish. Nothing you’ve faced is wasted. Nothing you’ve cried through is meaningless. God is a master at turning pain into purpose.

Hebrews 2:18 reminds us that Jesus Himself suffered. He didn’t watch our pain from a distance, He stepped into it. He felt temptation, pressure, grief, betrayal, and physical agony. Because He suffered, He is able to help us when we suffer. He understands. He strengthens. He walks with us through every valley.

Think about Joseph. Betrayed by his brothers, falsely accused, forgotten in prison, yet every hardship positioned him for the moment he would save a nation. What the enemy meant for evil became the very testimony that elevated him and delivered others.

Your story is no different. The trial you’re in today may be the breakthrough someone else needs tomorrow. Your scars will speak. Your endurance will inspire. Your survival will point someone back to God.

So hold on. Don’t despise the process. Don’t assume the suffering is the end. God is shaping a testimony that will carry power, healing, and hope.

The refuge of God and his strength facing fear and life's troubles alone.

READ:  Psalms 46

The Lord is a refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble. – Psalms 9:9

 Good Morning!
Life is full of challenges and struggles, and it's easy to feel overwhelmed and fearful when facing troubles. We often try to face these moments on our own, relying on our strengths and abilities. But what if I told you that there is a refuge, a safe haven, where you can find strength and solace in the midst of life's storms? That refuge is God.

In the book of Psalms, we are reminded that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in times of trouble (Psalm 46:1). It's easy to forget this truth when we are facing difficult situations. We may feel like we are carrying the weight of the world on our shoulders, and we have no one to turn to. But God is always there, waiting for us to turn to Him and place our faith, hope, and trust in Him.

David, the author of many of the Psalms, understood this truth. He faced many trials and tribulations throughout his life, but he always turned to God for refuge and strength. In Psalm 46, David reminds us never to fear even when the earth is removed, and mountains are carried into the sea. This may seem like an impossible situation, but David's message is clear - when we place our trust in God, we have nothing to fear.

However, it's not always easy to trust in God when we are facing fear and troubles. We may say we trust Him, but when it comes down to it, do our actions truly reflect our words? Especially when we are faced with a situation that shakes us to the core. Like the three Hebrew boys in the fiery furnace.

Our faith has to be strong just as Abraham’s faith. Through every situation and encounter, Abraham had to learn to trust God at his word.  It was not overnight that this unwavering faith developed it took years. But as you read the trials of Abraham you see when he reached the mountain top of faith it did not waver.  He knew that God would provide, and he did not have to sacrifice his son.

Faith requires us to truly believe in God's power and goodness. We must remind ourselves that he is all-knowing and all-powerful, and nothing is impossible for him. When we put our faith in God, we release our worries and fears by putting our trust into his hands, even if we can't see it at that moment.

It's important to remember that trusting in God does not mean that we won't face struggles or pain in our lives. However, it does mean that we have a loving and powerful refuge to turn to when we need it most.  The Lord is a refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble.
