Stop Delaying Your God-Given Assignment

Good Morning!

Losing focus on being productive for God happens quietly. It’s not always rebellion, sometimes it’s simply being busy helping others reach their goals while neglecting the assignment God placed in our own hands. I know this personally. I have not always used my God‑given gifts with intention. I have delayed, procrastinated, and postponed the very things God has called me to produce.

 

Recently, I met with two friends, true “producers” in the Kingdom. They give, they encourage, they pour out, and they sacrifice so others can rise. In both conversations, God used them to speak directly to my spirit. Their words reminded me that it is time for me to produce again. Not later. Not eventually.Now.

 

In Exodus 4, God asked Moses a simple but life‑altering question: “What is that in your hand?” Moses didn’t think he had much—just a staff. But in God’s hands, that ordinary staff became a tool for miracles. The same is true for you. Romans 12:6 declares that God has already placed spiritual gifts within each of us. These gifts are not decorations; they are instruments meant to strengthen, inspire, and build the body of Christ.

 

So let me ask you: What gift are you neglecting?
What vision have you delayed?

What assignment have you allowed distractions to bury?

It’s time to hit the reset button. Cease delaying and begin creating. Nurture your spiritual gifts so God can use you to bless others. Refocus your energy. Recommit your hands. Reignite your purpose.

 

God has already placed something powerful within you.
Now produce.

Make An Impact Daily

Good Morning!
The impact you have on others is far greater than you realize. Every day, someone is watching how you live, listening to what you say, or quietly reading what you share. Most will never comment, applaud, or acknowledge it. For a long time, I took that silence personally. I wondered if my words mattered at all.

 

But God has a way of sending reminders at the exact moment you need them. Just when I felt my devotions were insignificant, someone reached out privately to say, “Your words encouraged me.” That gentle nudge from the Lord reminded me that what feels small to us can be life‑changing for someone else.

 

The Bible gives us a powerful example in the story of the widow’s offering (Mark 12:41–44). Her two small coins seemed insignificant compared to the large gifts others gave. Yet Jesus stopped everything to highlight her impact. What she offered quietly, without applause, carried more weight in heaven than anyone realized on earth. Her small act still inspires believers thousands of years later.

 

That’s how God works. The thing you think is too small, too simple, too ordinary may be the very thing He uses to stir up love and good works in someone else. The value you overlook may be the blessing someone else has been praying for.

 

So on your daily walk, stay faithful. Keep shining your light before others so they may see God in your actions. Keep encouraging, keep serving, keep showing up. You may never fully know the impact you’re making to others, but God does, and He is using you more than you think.

 

Make an impact today. And tomorrow. And every day after that.

Venture beyond the shore

Good Morning! 

There’s a lyric in a song: “Why see the world when you have the beach?” 

On the surface, it sounds like a simple love for the ocean and beach; the sand, the sun, the gentle rhythm of the waves. But metaphorically, this statement can carry two very different meanings.

One meaning is contentment: This place is so good, why go anywhere else? The other meaning reveals something deeper:I stay here because I’m afraid to venture out.

Jesus told a parable about three men entrusted with “talents”. Two ventured out, took risks, and saw their talents multiply. But one man buried his single talent in the ground, paralyzed by fear, choosing safety over stewardship.

We often think the issue was the amount he received. But the real problem wasn’t his one talent, it was his unwillingness to use it.

God has given every person at least one talent, ability, or gift. 

Do you know yours? 

Are you using it? 

Or have you buried it beneath fear, comfort, or uncertainty?

The beach is beautiful, but you weren’t created to stay in one safe place forever. God designed you to explore, to grow, to step out, to invest what He has placed inside you. Whether you have one talent or five, the call is the same: venture out.

Use your gifts not for personal applause but for the glory of the God who entrusted them to you. 

Don’t let fear keep you on the shore. Step into the world. The One who gave you your talent will walk with you as you go.

You have a ministry!

Call it would you want, we all have a ministry. Through the world’s secular lens, they are recognized as gifts, talents, and skill sets. However we paint the picture, in God’s eyes it’s our ministry!  With our gift it’s our responsibility to shine light into darkness. Our gifts are tools to help others to see God’s awesomeness! Through our gifts we become a conduit to connect others to God. We were not given talents to hide or for self gratification (Matt 25:14–30). They are to be used according to our ability to help others. The journey will not be easy. We will be pressured mentally, physically, and spiritually, but not crushed. Verbally persecuted but not destroyed. WE have a ministry so don’t lose heart (2 Cor. 4:1). Let your light shine so your gifts may seen.
