Time for You to Come Alive!

Good Morning!

Howard Thurman once said, “Don’t ask what the world needs. Ask what makes you come alive, and go do it. Because what the world needs is people who have come alive.”

So I pose this question to you today: What makes you come alive? 

Is it helping others, teaching, healing, giving, writing, painting, singing, building, comforting, or creating? 

Whatever God has placed in your hands and stirred in your spirit, do it. Do it with joy. Do it with intention. Do it in a way that glorifies God.

Coming alive is not about chasing applause or collecting achievements. It’s about allowing the breath of God within you to move freely through your gifts. When you operate from that place, your work becomes more than activity, it becomes ministry. It becomes light. It becomes nourishment for someone who desperately needs what God placed inside you.

Thurman reminds us that the world is starving for people who are fully awake, fully engaged, fully alive. The energy, tenacity, and passion you pour into your calling will be evident in how you bless others. And ultimately, your obedience will bring someone joy, hope, or healing.

We see this truth woven throughout Scripture. In Exodus 31:1-11, When God filled Bezalel with creativity and skill to build the Tabernacle, he didn’t use his gifts for fame or recognition. His craftsmanship created a sacred space where people could encounter God. And in Acts 9:36-42, the word details when Dorcas (Tabitha) used her hands to sew garments for widows, her compassion was so impactful that the community cried out when she died, and God restored her. Their lives show us that when we come alive in our God given purpose, others are lifted, strengthened, and blessed.

Your gift matters. Your fire matters. Your aliveness matters. 

Let today be the day you stop shrinking back and start showing up. The world needs the version of you that God designed, awake, alive, and willing.

A Voice With Purpose

Good Morning! 

Every one of us carries a voice placed in us by God, shaped by our story, and meant to serve a purpose bigger than ourselves. But the real question is this: Are you using your voice, or are you running from it? Are you speaking from the place God planted you, or hiding from the assignment that keeps tugging at your spirit?

John the Baptist didn’t preach from a church or pulpit. He didn’t stand in the center of town where crowds naturally gathered. He cried out from the wilderness—a dry place, an overlooked place, a place most people avoided. Yet that is where God positioned him. And from that unlikely place, John prepared the way for Jesus.

Your wilderness might look different. It might be a season of transition, a place of discomfort, a role you didn’t expect, or a calling that feels too heavy for your shoulders. But even there, God has given you a voice. A message. A purpose.

Some of us silence ourselves because we feel unqualified. Some of us run because the assignment feels too bold. Some of us whisper when God is calling us to shout. But purpose doesn’t wait for perfect conditions. Purpose waits for obedience.

Whatever God has placed in your hands—your gifts, your testimony, your influence, your compassion—use it for His glory. Let your life, your words, and your work draw people to God, whether directly or indirectly. You don’t have to be center stage. You just have to be faithful where you are.

John’s voice made room for Jesus.
Your voice can do the same.

So today, ask yourself: Am I shouting in the wilderness, or hiding from the call? God is still preparing the way, and He intends to use you.

The Delayed Promise of God

When God instructed Samuel to anoint David as king – Saul’s replacement – David was a mere child about 12 years old (1 Sam. 16). From that very day, the ‘Spirit of the Lord’ was on David (1 Sam. 16:13).

Despite the anointing and alignment with God, David faced many giants (1 Sam 17), trials, and pitfalls. Some had David literally running for his life. These obstacles impeded David from his rightful seat on the throne as king. God’s promise was delayed.

Many people have experienced their “David Anointing” but have become bitter, angry, and in many cases, given up all because God is taking too long.

Throughout David’s journey, he could have given up or even taken matters into his own hands. However, David seeks God’s advice. Whenever he strayed from God, David always found his way back to God. Whenever David had opportunities to pursue vengeance or “alter” the outcome he always took the higher road, allowing God to handle the problem.

When David finally took his throne as a king reigning over all of Israel, he was 30 years old (2 Sam 5: 1-5). It took about 15-17 years for God’s promise to become a reality.

What has God promised you? Do you have the endurance and faith to trust and wait on God like David?

Every closed door or broken promise by man is only a temporary setback to your promise. God’s promise to you may be delayed but it will not be denied. God’s promises are always fulfilled, you have to trust God in the process…

Wanda has the crossover appeal that should hit the Contemporary Christian Music audiance with "WE SING HOLY." There is on cover song on this album which is a cover of Al Green’s classic “LET’S STAY TOGETHER.” You clearly understand the artist’s intent to illustrate a love affair with Jesus and no one else.

Though this is Wanda’s freshman solo project, she teamed with Grammy-Nominated and Stellar Award Winner Producer, Kenny Smith, WaKyn Foundation Group, and Airtight Entertainment Inc.
