Morning!Numerous
Christians are going through a state of perplexity while enduring hardships
that have impacted their spirit, physical health, and mental well-being. They
have reached the limit of their capacity and with no optimism for the future.
Jesus Christ offers a ray of hope to those who perceive their future as
dark or hopeless.
The story of Lazarus provides a compelling depiction of despair. Jesus' followers were aware of and had seen all the amazing miracles he had performed. Healing the sick, bestowing sight to the blind, and bringing back the dead to life.
When word spread about Lazarus' sickness, those closest to Jesus were certain that Jesus wouldn't hesitate to come to Lazarus’ aid. But he delayed His journey for a duration of four days.
The people lost hope due to Jesus' delay. Martha expressed her doubts about the situation to Jesus in an open manner by stating the words, "If you had been here, my brother would not have died" as per John 11:21.
Jesus' most significant achievements are often seen when all hope appears lost. Jesus let his disciples know that Lazarus had died before they left (John 11:14).
